Michigan - Fri. - Sun.

Leaving early for Michigan turned out to be a good idea. Everyone slept for the first 2-1/2 - 3 hours. We stopped for breakfast and then everyone went back to sleep. We really lucked out with Kai. He only car screamed for about 50 minutes when we were in stopped traffic on the way home from Michigan. It could have been much worse. We had a wonderful visit. Lauren said she never wanted to leave and then when she realized we had to, she said she wanted to live in Michigan when she grew up.

Jackson, My Cousin Stephanie's son and Lauren had a blast together.

They spent hours swimming. Jackson will be 4 in August.

Jackson had a little crush on Colleen.

He kept pretending to be drowning so Colleen would "save" him.

Blowing out the candles...it was nice to celebrate her birthday since we missed being with her on the actual day.

We all had a wonderful time in Michigan. It was amazing to spend so much time with everyone. A huge thank you to Leslie and Randy for putting us up in their home and feeding us so well! I keep thinking about those yummy burgers Randy!
