10 Months Old

Kai was 10 months old (yesterday)

This month Kai mastered sleeping alone! On the best night he's sleeping 10 hours straight without waking and the worst he's waking once or twice to cry briefly before falling right back to sleep. This is a HUGE relief! Other milestones this month - standing unassisted, taking a few steps, saying "mama", he also literally launches himself from object to object - like from the table to the couch and the table to Grace's back. He likes to repeat sounds and faces to us and he loves to blow raspberries constantly.

This past month the separation anxiety was pretty high especially when we were on our trip to the midwest. I've read that it peaks around this time so hopefully it's going to get better. Kai also cut his top two teeth on the 11th and 12th of July and the two teeth on either side should be poking through any day now. I guess he wanted to wait and then get all his teeth at the same time. I'm still bringing him to work 3 or 4 days during the week. Life is good right now.
