It's Monday morning, Kai is asleep in the swing, Colleen is at Eileen's - hopefully getting some sleep, and I am alternating posting this blog and blowing up balloons for Lauren's pretend birthday today. It is the first day of the weekend that the weather is as forecasted, cloudy. Saturday and Sunday were beautiful days much nicer than the weather predicted. On Saturday we woke up and headed straight to the park in case it rained later but the whole day was beautiful.
Thom spent the whole day in the yard Saturday and Sunday. There is still a lot of work to do but so far it looks great.
After the morning at the park we spent the rest of the day in our backyard. Lauren filled up the kiddie pool again.
We ate lunch outside on Saturday.
Eileen came over on Saturday night. We ate "perfect roast chicken" for dinner on the patio and then the girls played with Lauren in the backyard while I cleaned up. Lauren was so happy to be included.
Kai is still enjoying everything we feed him. He really loves these mesh bags that we put fresh fruit in.
