Kai's First Red Sox Game!

We went to the game last night. I could tell by the look on Colleen's face she wasn't thrilled but much to her credit she did not complain. As we all know this is pretty impressive for a 13 year old! Thanks Colleen! Lauren was also not super excited, although she was singing "take me out to the ballgame" on the drive there. Yesterday before the game I started getting a little nervous about how it would go but it went fairly smoothly. I think we all had a good time. The girls ate dot ice-cream, Kai took a great nap even with the roar of the crowd and the drunk guy who wandered and sat behind us towards the end of the game. I eventually had to ask him to move. Colleen hugged me afterwards so it was worth it...Too bad the Red Sox lost and we only saw Manny's 499th homerun. Lauren's first game was when he hit the 400 mark so it would have been pretty cool for Kai's first game to be the 500th.
Hopefully Kai likes baseball!

There's a pretty neat play area for the kids that Lauren spent a lot of time in.

Our next game is in July but Colleen will be on her backpacking trip. I just know she's dissapointed she wont be joining us...
