Sunday-Monday Graduation Happenings

GaGa flew in Sunday evening to see Colleen graduate. She took us to dinner at Ray's to celebrate. Colleen loves all things seafood and had a fantastic Clam and Linguini dinner.

Colleen was invited to sleep at GG's hotel but wanted to spend the last night before school was out in her own bed. Lauren however jumped at the chance. She walked into the bathroom at the hotel and said "There aren't any tub toys here". GG agreed and then she said, "surprising".
They had a fun evening together jumping on the bed and telling stories. Lauren said she missed us a lot but she wants to do it again next time.

On Monday during the day I helped out at Colleen's 8th grade picnic. She was embarrassed I was there so she ignored me and even called me Amy like I was a friend's mom. Ah, those were the days. I'm very rarely embarrassed by my Mom now - just kidding...it is nice to know that we grow out of that.

I'm posting this picture because I promised my Mom.
I guess one picture on the blog a year isn't too much to ask.
Thom's dream picture - he looks like he plays professional basketball in this picture.
The reality.
