Lauren told us she was going to marry Josh on his next birthday.
In this picture they are heading inside to change Josh's baby. Lauren had fun meeting all of Josh's other friends. The BBQ was a lot of fun. The weather was warm and it was nice to sit,relax, have some good conversations and eat good food.
We sat outside and had lunch right by the marina.
Then we walked around the town and after the first toy store, avoided all the other ones! Has anyone else heard of the terrible threes? Lauren was great at 2 but it's been really difficult lately.
Sunday night Cathy helped Lauren as she cut, taped and drew smily faces on about 45 crosses. Then she wrapped them all up like a present. I'm still wondering who that gift is for? When we asked her how she knew how to wrap a gift she said she had watched a woman in a store earlier that day. Cathy and I joked about how maybe Lauren was a packaging prodigy.
Monday during the day Thom, Cathy and the kids went to the market and shopped for a feast. The Dokes joined us for dinner that night. Before dinner Cathy took some artistic shots of the spread.
Collin was very enthralled with Lauren. They spent most of the meal in this position.
