On Wed. afternoon Lauren and I drove to Indianapolis. Chris was playing in the Big Ten tournament in Bloomington and it was fortunate that we could stay with Sarah, John and the kids. Thank you again for your hospitality!!
Lauren was not a huge fan of the long drive. About 4 hours into the drive, she asked if we could just live there. I said, "why do you want to live in Indiana?" She responded, "because I never want to drive that again."

I am having a tough time putting these pictures in order but I'm tired so I'm leaving it this way...

She kept saying "Chris, Chris, Chris" over and over. I asked her why and she said it was because she missed him so much. He kept asking her questions and she kept repeating his name. I told her next time she should answer his questions. She said, "next time I want to be the one asking the questions."
Lauren made a new best friend during the game, the coach's son. I am now carry in my purse his phone number (only 7 digits -I guess area codes don't exist when you are 5) which is written in blue crayon, in Lauren's handwriting.

These two sure have a special bond.
