Halloween

On Friday we were able to walk around downtown and trick or treat at the shops and then on Saturday we went around the neighborhood.

Colleen as the Mad Hatter - the Johnny Depp version...

Grandpa stopped by and went to a few houses with us.

There was a house on the corner near ours and it was really really decorated. Kai wouldn't go up to the door. He kept saying "scary, that, scary, that". We aren't sure why but he likes to put the word "that" after what he says. There is also a very purple house near ours and when we drive by he always says - "purple, that". "scary, that"

On Saturday morning Colleen did Lauren's makeup.

It was a little itchy to keep on all day but was really cool when she first had it on!

All Kai wanted was suckers. He kept walking up to each house and asking for "sucker? sucker?". He kept trying to give back anything that wasn't a sucker.

Then we would tell him to say "trick or treat" and he would walk up saying "treat, treat, treat?"

The kid knows what he wants.

Colleen also dressed up for school on Friday. It was a toned down version of her Saturday outfit but it was still very cool!
