A few weeks back I joined friends of ours at a concert at the zoo. I said yes back in April and then got more and more nervous as the date approached knowing Thom worked that night and I would be taking the kids alone. The thought of trying to keep Kai on a blanket for a few hours sounded awful!! I was pleasantly surprised. I told him over and over again before we went that he was not allowed off of the blanket. He only made a break for it once and that was after his witching hour of 7:00 when he was getting overtired. It was really a fun concert. Vivian and Lauren had so much fun together. The funny thing about the couple we met there is that they owned our first house in Fremont! The one we bought 6 years ago! They have a daughter Haiden's age and we met them through John and Jolene! Bizarre!
I did have to feed Kai a lot of food to keep him on the blanket...
