Colleen headed to high school today for the Freshman welcome day. I think I might have been more nervous that she was. She had a great time! She thought she wouldn't know anyone and wound up seeing a bunch of friends from her grade school. I feel much better! The real thing starts tomorrow. She is still a little nervous about being with all the older kids and I still can't believe I have a high schooler...
Lauren also had her first "welcome day" at school today. She had a blast checking everything out. She said "Mom and Dad, thank you, I love my new school". Today I told her she was going back for a full day tomorrow - she said "you didn't tell me that - you gotta be kidding me". I think this was a positive statement.
