Letterboxing with Joshie

Last weekend, Annika and Carlos invited us to try letterboxing at an amazing park in Everett.
The kids had a blast playing in the water features and on the playground. We also spent time on a treasure hunt for the boxes. It was so much fun (mostly for the adults).
People hide these waterproof letterboxes that contain stamps all over the world. You can find the clues online and then follow them to find the boxes. Each box contains a different stamp which you stamp into your "letterbox" book. Then you stamp your own stamp in the book that is inside the box. It's really fun to flip through and see all the other people who have found the boxes before you.

Kai has that "mine" look going on...we are still working on that one...
Thanks Annika & Carlos for introducing us to this super fun activity!! I cannot wait until you come to IL to find the boxes there...yes I am trying to lure you out to see us....

Hey - just saw these - great shots! I had such a good time that day. And no worries; Josh spent the entire time in New Mexico asking when we could fly to Chicago - he had a very elaborate plan for his birthday involving Lauren...
