Random

Kai is a crazy climber lately. If you turn around for a minute he's not only up the chair but he might be on top of the dining room table already. He's so incredibly active. When we are outside and I set him down he literal runs the moment his feet hit the ground. There's not even a slight pause. He still doesn't say very many words but he has been signing a lot. This is a fun age but soooo exhausting.

My favorite story about Lauren lately was the other day when Thom brought a peach home from the store. I told him that this time of year isn't the best for peaches, that they are expensive and not tasty at all. A few hours later, for Lauren's snack, we asked which fruit she wanted and she said peaches. I handed her a bowl of sliced peach. She took one bite and looked at both of us and asked, "who bought this delicious peach?" Thom and I cracked up. It's truly amazing how much they are listening to even when you barely notice them in the room.
PS - That was her only bite.

Colleen has not wanted me to take pictures of her lately...I'll try to get some soon.

Kai sounds like he must be Nadia's age - 18 months. She is like a walking tornado and we have to leave the chairs down otherwise she is climbing up on the table, counters, computer desk etc...exhausting is right!
