The night began when Lauren put on the new Chefs outfit she got from Elaine and John for Christmas. Then she explained to Kai all the yummy food we would be making.
She enjoys singing while she cooks.

Earlier, it wasn't so bad.
Lauren rang in the New Year with New York and then fell sound asleep. I stayed up until Midnight, woke Colleen up since she fell asleep at 11:30, and then we watched the botched Seattle Fireworks display from my bedroom window. Thom worked, of course.
Colleen at 11:30. She never has a hard time staying up unless it's New Year's Eve.
