We picked Colleen up from her trip Sat. She had a great time kayaking around Bainbridge Island. They went between 1 and 7 miles a day and camped at some pretty remote campsites that are only accessible by water. They saw lots of wildlife including a Sea Lion that wanted to eat their lunches and then swan around their kayaks as they paddled away. She said she definitely wants to go back again next year.

Lauren and I took the ferry to pick her up.
She was exhausted.
This is the short rest they shared on the ferry ride.

Colleen's legs are a mess of scratches, cuts, bruises!
When we picked Colleen up the counselor (jokingly?) said anything they ask for for in the next 24 hours we should say "yes" to. Thank goodness her only request was a milk shake and grill cheese Sat. night from Burgermaster and sushi from Blue C on Sunday. Your wish is our command! We are happy you are home.
Next week it's off to computer game programing camp. This one is not a sleepover camp, good thing too, because I don't think we could take one more week without Colleen!
