Looking at the brightside

Last night the winds reached up to 70 miles an hour in some
locations. Colleen had a hard time sleeping - our trees were
really going crazy outside her bedroom window.
The bay window in my bedroom was howling.
Grace was so scared she went upstairs and slept with Colleen.
She isn't allowed upstairs, but last night she didn't seem to care
about that rule and neither did we.
Then Thom drove home from work and hit a very large tree that
stretched across 6 lanes of the highway. He doesn't even have a
single bruise. As horrible as it is to add another terrible story to our
list of what happened in the year 2006 - we really are very lucky.
I sure hope 2007 is a better year!

Thank you for making it home safe last night Thom -
we all love you very much.
I know you loved her but she is only a car and by the way
the MINI Cooper is still out of the question...
